CT Civil has a long history of delivering results in difficult ground conditions and terrain. Some projects of note include:
Large numbers of pole to pit conduits with jobs ranging from 5m to 500m in length through varying terrains at multiple locations including drilling electrical conduits for HV/LV infrastructure.
Wimmera Mallee Pipeline - Over 50 bores of varying lengths and sizes as part of a large water distribution project. The project replaced 18,000 kilometres of open earthen channel with 9,159 kilometres of pressurised pipeline.
Sewer upgrade works from Rockhampton to Yeppoon with new 450mm sewer drilled to grade.
Recycled water project in Melton with 3km of recycled water pipe.
TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE TOWERS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Underground infrastructure provided for several new mobile phone towers located throughout Victoria.
The project was completed in conjunction with ICS Industries and involved horizontal directional drilling of multi-way conduits and rock saw/trenching works for both electrical and comms conduits.
Works also involved installation of towers, including building footings.
Installation by horizontal directional drilling of conduits, including multiway runs:
Cambridge/Central Hobart – 12 kilometres with the majority being in, dolerite, one of the hardest substrates in Australia, at above x MPa.
Dodges Ferry – 10 kilometres in varying substrates from sand to rock.
Margate – 8 kilometres of hard rocky ground in sensitive environmental areas.
Huon Valley – 5 kilometres of varying ground conditions in sensitive environment area.
Blue Mountains - over 20 kilometres in steep, rocky terrain. Hunter region - Over 5kms in rock and sand charged swamps
Yarraville - drilling 8 kilometres through heavily built up area in rocky terrain.
